Every holiday season, Ted Perez + Associates sends gifts to clients, family and friends as a show of gratitude for the support and loyalty we are fortunate enough to have enjoyed in the passing year.
The pieces [six shirts and two jackets to date - stay tuned for LTD runs of past favorites!] are designed in-house and sent off to be screen-printed [or sewn together, in some cases] at W. Ranch Studios [legit artisans].
Quotes and thoughts from Ted Perez have garnered a lot of attention so the decision was made to base the '09 gifts on a series from his travels - four designers, four quotes, four shirts.

Introducing the new Ted Perez + Associates corporate site.
In addition to showcasing work produced since the company's inception in September of 2003, it is also the first public showcase of our new identity system.
We hope you enjoy...TedPerez.com

Midway through the sixth year of operation Ted Perez + Associates relocated from Santa Monica to Venice [California]. Amongst a complete reworking of ~5k square feet of an old truss building within Main Street Studios was the challenge of adding flourishes of the company's character and history. Settling in will certainly be a lengthy and fluid process. The first item to be shared is a custom wallpaper designed to honor and thank the employees who rallied and kept a steady focus on the horizon during the involved build out. As with the space in general, the overall goal for this project was to create a classic look with modern influences - a timeless impression.

Ted spoke at the first-year orientation ceremonies for the University of Georgia's newly founded School of Social Work. Norma Robertson, a student in attendance that day, had written an excerpt from his address in her journal:
"Hold fast, naked, as intended, to a reef of razorblades and broken glass amidst a tempest of doubt. Your survival will prove the majority rotten."
A blind note of appreciation to the judges, juries and tastemakers responsible for recent notes and recognition:
